Anti-Wrinkle Injections

Made from a drug called Botulinum Toxin, Botox relaxes the muscle to stop lines and wrinkles forming. We target only the small, specific muscles responsible for unwanted lines and wrinkles, meaning your normal facial expressions will remain unaffected.

Administered correctly by a medical practitioner they can subtly smooth and soften the skin, restoring a youthful complexion.

How do Anti-wrinkle injections work?

Botox is a drug that blocks the signals that are sent out by your brain that would usually cause the muscles to move. Blocking these signals means there is less movement and therefore the reduction/removal of existing wrinkles.

What Does the Treatment Involve?

We ask you to come in for an initial consultation with Lisa, our nurse, to discuss the treatment process in more detail and to talk about the look you are after.

The treatment itself involves a few small injections (depending on how many areas you go for) and will take about half an hour.

You then are invited for a free review two weeks after your treatment, where Lisa will see the effect of the Botox and will then inject a bit more of the drug to ensure that it is working properly.

What happens after the treatment?

There is no downtime after this treatment and it will not be noticeable. The nurse will discuss the post treatment care with you after your appointment.

It can take around 5 to 7 days for the effects of the treatment begin to show, with the full result not to be seen until approximately 10 days post treatment.

How long does the treatments last?

Botox treatment tends to last between three and six months.
