Pelvilift Patient Feedback Programme Privacy Notice

Last updated:

Who is responsible for your information?

Clinic Visjeune is the data controller for information collected through the Pelvilift Patient Feedback Programme.

Our main clinic is located at 759 Wimborne Road, Bournemouth, BH9 2BA. You can contact us on 01202 523142 or through the contact form on our website.

What information do we collect?

We collect only the information needed to administer and evaluate the programme. This may include:

  • Your name and email address.
  • Your phone number, but only if you choose to provide it because you would prefer to be contacted by telephone or text.
  • Your answers about urinary leakage, pelvic floor symptoms, treatment experience and outcomes.
  • Information needed to match your questionnaire responses with your Pelvilift appointments and follow-up surveys.
  • A record of when and how you agreed to take part.

Why do we use your information?

We use your details to confirm that you have completed the pre-treatment survey, administer your place on the programme, contact you about your appointments and match your initial answers with your follow-up responses.

This allows us to understand how symptoms change throughout the six-session course, identify patterns in participants' experiences and consider whether there is anything we could improve as a clinic.

We may use combined, anonymised findings in reports, on our website or in marketing materials. These findings will not identify you.

We will not use your email address or phone number to send unrelated marketing unless you separately choose to receive it.

Our lawful basis for using your information

We use the contact and appointment information needed to administer your place because it is necessary to provide the programme you have chosen to join.

We use information about your symptoms and treatment outcomes with your explicit consent. Health information is special-category data and receives additional protection under data-protection law.

Who can see your information?

Your identifiable questionnaire responses will not be publicly accessible and will not be available to every member of the clinic team.

Access will be restricted to authorised people who need the information to administer the programme, match your appointments and responses, analyse the results or provide your care. Everyone with access is subject to confidentiality obligations.

We may use trusted service providers that host our forms, email or booking systems. They may process information on our behalf only to provide those services.

We will not sell your information or disclose your identifiable survey responses outside Clinic Visjeune unless you ask us to, it is necessary for your care or we are required to do so by law.

How long do we keep your information?

We will keep identifiable programme questionnaire responses for no longer than 12 months after the programme closes.

We will then securely delete the identifiable survey information or remove the details that connect it to you.

Fully anonymised and combined findings may be retained for longer because they can no longer identify you.

Clinical treatment and appointment records are kept separately in accordance with the clinic's clinical-records retention policy.

Your choices and rights

Taking part in the feedback programme is optional. Standard-price Pelvilift treatment remains available if you do not wish to participate.

You may ask us for a copy of your personal information, request corrections and, where applicable, ask us to restrict or erase its use.

You may withdraw your consent for the future use of your survey information by contacting Clinic Visjeune. Withdrawing consent will not affect processing already carried out or information the clinic must retain for clinical or legal reasons.

If you have a concern, please contact Clinic Visjeune first so that we can try to resolve it.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. Further information is available at:
